Rebecca is a Masters candidate in the field of Professional Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and is registered with APHRA as a provisional psychologist.
Rebecca completed an Honours Degree in Psychology at the University of Technology (QUT), after completing a Bachelor Behavioural Science and was awarded the prize for outstanding thesis in the area of road safety.
Most recently, Rebecca completed a practicum placement at the UniSQ Psychology Clinic where she used Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as her primary treatment modality to assist clients with various presentations including depression, and anxiety, as well assisting clients with managing difficulties with regulating their emotions and with their interpersonal relationships. During her time at the UniSQ Psychology Clinic, Rebecca also conducted cognitive assessments and provided feedback sessions with clients to assist them to implement recommendations related to their specific cognitive profiles.
Rebecca is passionate about rural and remote communities given her first hand experience of living and working in the bush. Rebecca is a warm and engaging psychologist who creates a safe and welcoming environment for clients to share their vulnerabilities and challenges, in order support and encourage their strengths. Rebecca works with clients across the lifespan and provides holistic, personable and professional psychological support.
