Dr Simone Shaw completed her Supervisor Training and Approval Program (STAP) in 2009 and has provided clinical supervision to over 50 provisionally and fully registered psychologists since then. Within supervision, Simone adopts a collaborative, supportive, and teaching role. She promotes an environment of mutual respect and an understanding that learning is a process not an end point. Simone ensures that her supervisee’s are clear on their expectations for supervision and that a culture of open feedback is adopted in order for supervision to work effectively.

Simone provides clinical supervision to Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists under the following pathways:

• Registrar program
• Work in addition to higher degree
• Higher degree program
• 4+2 internship
• 5+1 program
