Kylie Dumontet is an AHPRA registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Kylie completed her clinical training and research thesis as part of the Master of Clinical Psychology Program at Central Queensland University, graduating with Distinction.
Kylie has worked with individuals and families for over twenty years across government and private sectors in metropolitan, rural and remote areas of Queensland. Kylie’s early career involved working with the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, where she held various professional and leadership roles. This work encouraged her to obtain further clinical endorsement and specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex psychological and neurodevelopmental conditions.
For the past seven years, Kylie has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in her own private practice, supporting individuals across the lifespan towards their therapeutic goals. Kylie’s clinical assessments and reports are comprehensive and well respected among the professional community and disability sector, and she has helped countless individuals access vital supports and services. After working solo for many years, Kylie has recently joined the Sure Psychology team to work alongside other clinicians, with her ultimate goal to complete further postgraduate qualifications in neuropsychology.
Kylie offers a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, EMDR and Family Centred Therapy. She has a warm and nurturing therapeutic approach which is grounded in a high level of clinical expertise and professionalism. Kylie believes in meeting clients where they are, and providing individualised therapy through flexible and integrated practice that aligns with client values.
Kylie’s clinic days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and she is currently accepting new referrals with minimal wait times. Please contact the clinic on 07 5476 5386 or admin@surepsychology.com.au to secure your preferred appointment time.
