Chantal is a dual-endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience in clinical and academic settings. She completed her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology in 2009, followed by a PhD in 2013 at the University of Amsterdam, where she researched post-operative delirium. Chantal has presented her work at international conferences and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Chantal moved to Australia in 2018 and has worked in private practice since this time. In 2025, Chantal relocated to the Sunshine Coast and is currently providing treatment services to clients presenting with a range of psychological and neurological conditions.
Chantal brings a broad and diverse background, having worked in hospital-based roles, academic teaching hospitals, aged care, and private practice. She has expertise in both neuropsychological and psychological assessments and provides clinical guidance to clients, families, and healthcare professionals alike.
Chantal’s treatment modalities include Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness based approaches. Chantal accepts referrals from Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA), WorkCover Queensland (WC Qld), National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ), Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP) and private referrals.
Chantal has extensive experience working with clients with a variety of presentations, including anxiety, depression, Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and complex trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)/Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Given her dual qualifications in neuropsychology, Chantal also has expertise working with clients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Persistent Symptoms Post Concussion (PSPC) and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Chantal is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable to explore their thoughts and emotions. Her approach is warm, respectful, and collaborative—balanced with clear and honest communication tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. She provides services in both English and Dutch.
