Madison is a Doctoral candidate in the fields of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Queensland (UQ).
Prior to commencing her Doctorate, Madison was awarded First Class Honours for her Bachelor of Psychological Science which she obtained at the University of Queensland in 2020. Whilst completing her Doctoral studies at the University of Queensland, Madison worked on various research projects, most notably analysing the effectiveness of counselling interventions.
Madison is currently working as a research assistant at the University of the Sunshine Coast related to the field of healthy brain ageing and dementia risk reduction.
In relation to her clinical experience, Madison worked at Beyond Blue, where she provided brief mental health support and counselling services to members of the community. More recently, Madison worked with Headspace providing evidence-based mental health treatment with young people aged 12-25.
At Sure Psychology, Madison provides both assessment and treatment services for clients who are presenting with a range of psychological and neurological conditions. Madison provides assessment and treatment services to self-referred and third-party referred clients, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme, WorkCover Queensland, iCare, National Injury Insurance Scheme, and the All in the Mind Foundation. Madison specialises in providing treatment to clients presenting with adjustment to injury, stress, anxiety and depression. Madison’s therapeutic approaches include the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Madison adopts a warm and empathetic approach to treatment and looks forward to working with you.
